Will Solana really fix its network?

Solana has suffered many outages and problems since it launched its network. Within this year alone they have suffered multiple outages. Solana’s co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko recently said that a fix was to be expected within one to two years.

Anatoly Yakovenko believes that Firedancer which is being developed in partnership with Web 3 firm Jump Crypto, will fix Solana’s bugs and network traffic problems. He believes that because it is being developed by a separate team there is zero possibility of having the same bugs.

That is a quite optimistic view from Solana but it is one any co-founder will take. What will Firedancer really achieve for Solana? Will Jump Crypto really solve Solana’s problems and restore faith in its users and holders?
