Anyone think about the possibility that Tesla didn't receive any sales with Bitcoin?
It should be trivial to estimate how many sales they had, since Bitcoin is public and their terms required one bitcoin transaction not multiple.
So you should be able to determine the number of transactions that meet the price requirements for a Tesla car from the dates at which Bitcoin payments were enabled on their website.
If there happen to be no transactions that meet that criteria, we could posture that Elon would have to explain to shareholders why Tesla is unappealing to Bitcoiners.
TLDR: Instead of owning up that Tesla didn't have any car sales using the Bitcoin payment method, Elon deflected blame and pointed at the energy consumption of Bitcoin as the reason the payment method was disable.
