Alright, Bitcoin has been doing great in recent months, and thus, one of the Dutch news-outlets (RTL Nieuws) "had" to "cover" it, wether they wanted or not.
So, they went and put three graphs over eachother, the first being Bitcoin, followed by Gold which in turn got followed by stocks. (I think the AEX)
Bitcoin ~ 60% within three months, Gold ~6% and stocks ~8%. Followed by yada yada in year x it crashed ~%80, then in year x it went 10x yada yada.
Then they go and say "MaYbE wE ShOuLd InVeSt SoMe iN BiTcOin"
Followed by, "But why should we ? I can't come up with any sound reason to buy it, or why it's still around anyways"
I can't wrap my head around the fact that even TODAY, after FOURTEEN YEARS, we still get this shit aired on TV.
You could tell they despise it with all they have, only by listening to how they pronounce Bitcoin.
