Keep the hopes up boys and girls: IMF raises growth outlook, sees inflation past peak and says "This could be a turning point"

For what it's worth and whatever little or more credit you can give to IMF - for the first time, they seem most optimistic and positive in the past 3 years. Equity markets seem to be recovering as well - S&P did recover some points from December crash.

Of course, nobody knows the timing of economic shifts in the market and arrival of bull market but macro indicators are starting to shift and look less gloomy. Also, not sure how long is the Russia-Ukraine war going to last but hope that's fading away soon as well.

So economists are positive

Inflation is past peak

Russia please end the war

Seems some good macro indicators out there..
