I’m so glad I did not get affected by any of this BS even after constantly being shoved by all so-called influencers and YouTubers. Never used Celsius. Never used FTX. Never bought Terra Luna. Got everything out of BlockFi last year. Stopped using Binance in 2018. I don't trade, just buy and hodl.

I buy on coinbase pro and move to hard wallets. Coinbase is the only less stinking player in the game and I hope it stays that way.

I believe what's happening with these exchanges' shenanigans is good for the space long run. Really burn them all! but the sad part is silly customers are getting hurt with their life earnings.

Edit1: There's some little hate for coinbase in the comments but not as much as I was expecting tbh. Coinbase is awful very so often. Firstly, I am not promoting coinbase. I know it can go down too. It serves my purpose of buying and transferring my coins to self custody simple.

You should use any “well know” exchange that suits your needs. There are some great recommendations and comments on the post.

One comment I personally liked and endorse is: “Treat exchanges like an exchange” Buy what you need and take the self-custody.
