You can't "freeze" or "seize" crypto wallets (self hosted). Stop posting articles that claim that.

A government or anyone for that matter can NOT seize anyone's self hosted bitcoin wallet or otherwise. The only thing they can do is to send an order to an exchange to blacklist the address in question. In the situation with the truckers, the Canadian Gov't has "ordered" that those responsible for a list of addresses (that they deem dubious/attached to the truckers) send the BTC to the government. They are just saying that they "seized" the wallets to scare people to not use crypto. They also ordered Canadian exchanges to not do business with certain people and anyone associated with these addresses. This is not seizing wallets.

These self hosted wallets can still send BTC anywhere in the world and no one can stop them.

So these posts about seizing crypto wallets are all talk. Unless organizers willingly give up their private keys, these organizers can keep their BTC, send it to other people, and even send it to be coin-joined. Also with cryptos's like monero, the Canadian government can't see shit. They have a donation address, but they will never know how much was sent to it nor if any was sent anywhere else.

EDIT 3: Just buy your coins without KYC and they cant come for your coins. You can always sell for cash in P2P face 2 face transactions
