It doesn't make sense to me? This is r/CryptoCurrency, not a project specific sub. I'd rather see both the positives and negatives of a project.
If I want constant hopium to inject into my veins, I'll go surf around that subreddit for a long while till I get my daily dose of hopium. I never expect to see negatives or information of any type being shared in these subreddits, I'm not exactly sure as to why they do not discuss it.. but it is what it is.
If a HACK or a major event (whether that be positive or negative) happen to a project, I want to see information on it rather than these butt hurt individuals calling everything about the information "FUD!" or a shill attack so the price tanks and I can buy into it.
I'd use a specific project.. but it's one you're either for or against. So I will use Project A as an example. Project A sees an issue with TPS and is unable to handle these issues and shuts down their server. r/cc reports on the issue - massive following for Project A comes to defend its project and calls it FUD and a shill attack to tank the price. While the information shared by the OP is correct, it leaves conflicting feelings for new investors.
Just because people are reporting on the negatives of your project doesn't make it FUD or a shill attack. They're literally supplying information that rarely gets shared because everyone injects gallons of hopium in their veins.
