What's the worst way you've lost money in crypto that was outside your control?

In 2020 I lost over $2K worth of crypto on OKEX because I had no stop loss on a margin trade and get this... my fucking mouse's battery died. I couldn't get out of the trade manually where I only would've lost around $500 instead. But when you're margin trading, time is of the essence. I tried to close the trade with the keyboard, but there were so many fucking options I was sifting through with tab that I was losing even more money while trying to do that.

I said fuck it and I raced to another room in my house where I had another battery and ran back to my PC, switched the battery and by the time the mouse was working again, my position was wiped out automatically. I was taken out by stop loss hunters. Those fucking cocksuckers took me out, but then the trade went in the direction I originally predicted any ways. Not like I would've made anything if my mouse WAS working because I was gonna get out at -25% of my original position. That's what I get for rawdogging a trade with no protection (stop losses).

The fucking irony.
