Starting from today, I will post daily here on reddit and on twitter until the issue is solved.
In July 2021, I mis-transferred 6 BTC to a wrong address on Huobi. Meant to transfer BTC to Huobi and instead, I somehow put the wrong address of HECO.
Immediately after I contacted the customer service of Huobi and they helped me recover the fund and returned the 6 BTC to my Binance account.
However, my Binance account was then locked right after I got my fund back.
Ever since then (Jul 16, 2021), I've been trying repeatedly and continuously to contact Binance service team to unlock my funds. Until today, not much has been done.
I got a reply 2 weeks after I reached out on Jul 16, and guess what?
The service team never gave me a reason why my account was locked, instead they asked me why I withdrew 1.995 BNB in May. I told them that I couldn't remember the exact details but it was likely that I invested in defi mining since that is what my account was for.
Then total silence again.
Who gave Binance the right to lock user's fund for no reason?
And what kind of question is that? So what, my 6 BTC is locked because I withdrew less than 2 BNB more than 2 months ago?
I've been sending request to customer service every single day demanding for an explanation and solution yet no reply whatsoever.
I guess I have no other way now but to resolve the problem via legal assistance.
Pls, does anyone know what jurisdiction is Binance under and how I can sue them?
(It's kind of tricky since they don't seem to have an office/headquarter in any particular country)
