Wild Upside: New, energy efficient, totally decentralized, non-premined, Proof-Of-Work coin comes out of nowhere to establish itself as the new new thing! (hey, it's supposed to be wild)
Neutral: Crypto regulation bill passes. BTC & ETH go under the purview of CFTC as commodities and slowly gain acceptance by the traditional investment community. Ho hum!
Wild Downside: ETH is declared a security due to its new POS adoption! All hell breaks loose for the ALTs & Shitcoins built on that platform since they now have to transact in securities. All Shitcoins head to zero! (Crazy I know)
The collective neurons of this sub firing on all cylinders should give us some cool insights. The best prediction gets a Starstruck award on December 31. Let's Goooo
