What do Moons mean to you?

We sometimes hear stories of Redditors from third world countries who rely on moons as a significant source of income. We express incredulity at what the world has come to and show them support by engaging with them and/or liking their comments.

But for those of you who are in more privileged situations, what do moons mean to you? Do you think that the effort-reward ratio of commenting here is worth your time and energy?
