Nayib Bukele, El Salvadorian President, adopted Bitcoin just over a year ago, in attempt to decouple El Salvador from the US dollar and embrace Bitcoin. If this were to have happened on a larger scale, say a country like the UK or Indonesia, with a relatively large GDP, would this make Bitcoin a less volatile currency in the sense that consistent high volume trades make it less volatile and a safer place to put your money?
