What advice would you give to someone new to crypto?

We’ve all been there, when I first heard about crypto, it took me a week to comprehend that it was worth $60k but had no physical item. I started off just putting USDC in my wallet just to see how it works and I found it pretty cool. Pretty soon I had been converted to decentralization and DAO’s and found the idea of a DAO pretty good. I am still learning new ways to use crypto and understand how crypto works itself. I then learnt about NFT’s and used my blender skills to make some very unsuccessful NFT’s. After that I joined here and just saw what you guys were up to and followed your advice. What advice would you give to a complete newbie who has no idea what crypto is?
