Hello, so I only know a little about Bitcoin but my brother (who passed away a few years ago) had a wallet that he invested his and my money in that I don't know how to access. I don't really plan on touching it but it isn't an insignificant amount of money so I'd like to know that it's secure because the wallet was made about 10 years ago.
I know the wallet ID and that he had an account on blockchain.com, and on his laptop I found a file called BTC.txt that has a random string that is 51 characters long - I tried entering it as the password but it says it is invalid. I haven't come across any 12 words on his laptop or in-person.
Does anyone know what the random string could be for? And any help would be appreciated.
