Trezor Model T, receiving address for BTC. Newbie question

Bitcoin Reddit

I noticed that my new Trezor Model T generates a new "receiving address" every time I want to send BTC. I assume this is for security, and it is unwise to reuse an address?

I'm going to be traveling for a long time, leaving my Trezor at home, and would like to be able to send BTC to this wallet at least once in the future. That's why I ask.

Could I generate one receiving address now and just save it and use it whenever I want in the future?

Example: I go into Trezor Suite and click to view a full BTC receiving address. Then I click "confirm" on Trezor. Then I copy and save that receiving address into Notepad, and send BTC to that address in 9 months. Is that going to work, assuming no human error occurs on my part? Or does this invite some risks of losing the BTC?
