I’ve seen a lot of posts here about people losing their crypto, for many of which the most likely scenario seems to be that they fell victim to a keylogger. Before you restore a wallet or perform a transaction I just wanted to share a quick and easy way to check to see if you have a malicious program running on your computer:
The method is to simply open your task manager to see if there are any suspicious processes running. If you see any process that isn’t derived from one of the apps you currently have open, end it immediately and run a malware scan. Malware scans alone won’t detect malicious software 100% of the time, so this method could save you from losing a lot of assets in only a few seconds- would highly recommend it as a precaution before you access anything crypto related.
Hope this helps
