This community is giving people something that is not mentioned enough.

Hello bitcoiners, I'm a 33M and I've been reading you guys since november 2021 ATH. I invested a little 2 months later which wasn't the best idea, but I listened to you guys and educated myself before investing again.

Today is friday and I wanted to add positivity to the weekend and say thank you. Not because you're telling people to learn about the monetary system and why deflationary currency system is needed but because you made saving cool again. When I find it hard not to buy something I really wish I had or to make choice between travelling with my dad or my dream's bbq, I come here for comfort. You guys are money saving champions and if you can do it, I can do it too.

Regardless of what we invest in, everyone should save money for the future. Most people today live from paycheck to paycheck, at least where I live in Canada. So when I see someone in his 20s saying he's trying to save up to 50% of his net revenue I am amazed. When I was 20 years old I only had money for a couple beers at the cool bar with the cheapest beer downtown Montreal hoping to get laid.

The younger you start saving, easier your life will be in the future because you never know what shit life as in store for you.

This community is slowy changing the youth mentality from 'whats the point anyway, we're all doomed' to 'we never know, I should think about my future and save ressources'

I just came back from a diving trip with my 60 years old dad and told him he's going to be a grand father. I can always buy a new bbq next year.

I'm going to finish reading the bitcoin standard this weekend, my next read on the matter will be broken money. Any other recommandations?
