The new presidential candidate and nephew of J.F Kennedy, is all against a CBDC and their “FedNow“. This may actually be some good for Crypto and everyone who likes privacy.

Just yesterday there was a political announcement of Robert Kennedy Jr., yes the nephew of John F. Kennedy, joining the presidential race and challenging Joe Biden as a democrat. While I personally do not like to think about all those US politics as every person at power is more or less the same, this one in particular could have something good for Crypto and actually for all of America if elected.

We saw the FedNow news from a few days back, where the FED seems to be moving forward with their own CBDC soon, which everyone here knows will be restrict the freedom and privacy of every individual of the US and further surveil every action done by every US citizen.

And Robert F. Kennedy actually knows this and is firing immediately at the FedNow program, in a way you would not have expected from some of the same camp as the very people who push a CBDC and it gives hope that at at least some politicians still care enough about the privacy of the people they are meant to serve.

At last, this is not a post to endorse any politicians but just an observation that there still may be some opposition for a CBDC and in the best case it still may not happen which will be good for the ideals of Crypto and obviously there will also be no competition of digital currency for BTC in the US too, making mass adoption way easier.
