I have multiple wallets setup with multiple assets in each. By far, Metamask is the worst. Even the Binance chain wallet is better - at least that comes with integration to the exchange.
I can work Metamask fine, no issues, but it has so many elements that make it harder for new people. I remember setting it up and doing my research years ago - doing the whole practice network transfers thing with rapston test network, kovan etc,. Oh, and there doesn't appear to be any way to remove them, so now I have all these useless networks I have to scroll through.
I've basically migrated everything to Binance chain wallet or Phantom wallet, and the phantom wallet has staking built-in which makes things so much easier. I tried Trust wallet for a while, but didn't really like that either.
I really think that industry's focus on Metamask for just about everything is problematic. When rookies have to rely on youtube tutorials to help them set up their wallets, it is holding crypto back. It's just too complicated for some people.
