The government wants to ban Crypto because it has “so many scams“, but according to that logic: emails, phone-calls and their whole currencies are used even more in scams.

The past days, in fact this whole year, has been all about the US government trying everything to hinder the mass adoption of Crypto and “quietly“ trying to ban it. The best example for that is probably Elizabeth Warren herself, she is the frontrunner in trying to just, outright, ban Crypto.

News from a few days back

Once again their main argument will be, how much Crypto is used in scams, just as it always has been. I think we are just all tired of this understanding by politicians of Crypto and further it does not even make logically sense.

But if we think of all the other things we use in our daily lives, like our smartphones, the e-mails, the internet itself and more than that all the fiat currencies. It‘s pretty sure to say that at least 90% of scams are proceeded through those things instead of an asset-class like Crypto, that is not even globally well-known.

Now if we drive their argument to an extreme, it would basically mean that all those things should be banned too.

This just happens to show how illogical their argument is, I mean Crypto has been here for over a decade and they still could not come up with a better argument than this.
