Technical book recommendation

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 86 Views

What book would you recommend to approach cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies on the technical side? To be more specific: I would love to better understand the underlying concepts and math, but not necessarily towards investing. I'm not interested in investing in cryptocurrency nor in learning the history of some altcoin, even though both these topics fascinate me. On the other hand, I would avoid academic textbooks, the kind you need a CS Bachelor to read. To sum up, I'm asking for the theoretical minimum.

For context, I'm less than a beginner: everything I know comes from 3blue1brown's YouTube video about blockchain. However, I'm currently studying Physics, so I'm confident that I'll keep up with a nice chunk of the math in the books before collapsing.

Disclaimer: yes, I've read through a couple of posts that mentioned something like this in the past, but they looked like they were centered around monographies on crypto history, economics and investing strategies. These are all fine topics, but not quite my focus.

Looking forward to your advice and thanks in advance!
