Stay smart out there boys, Inflation makes people take dumb risks and try to lever gains

How many of you have had the thought before like if I had 10k how hard would it be to make 100K? On the surface it seems pretty simple, double 10k to 20k, double 20k to 40k, double 40k to 80k and double 80k to 160k. That's really only 4 moves, seems so easy. I'm sure a lot of us have had similar ideas even at say a roullette table.

So here's how inflation causes us to engage in these behaviors. You got a guy who's making say $15 an hour. He basically realizes I'm completely fucked, a gallon of gas is half an hour of work, grocery store prices are going up, my rent is going up. Yeah I can work overtime maybe get a second job but ultimately I need at least 6 hours of sleep so that only leaves max 18 hours a day, someone could basically realize no matter how hard I work I'm screwed so they decide to try to take on risks, take on riskier investments, etc.

Some people get drawn into risky things out of greed others out of necessity and more and more people are finding themselves in a position of being the person who can't get by no matter how frugal they are or how hard they work, its even effecting the middle class now and will eventually hit the upper middle class at teh pace were going.

So what does this mean in terms of crypto, well this is why Bitconnect looked good to some people, this is why high APY/APRs from platforms like Voyager looked attractive. This is why someone says I'm gonna throw some money into a #459 ranked coin instead of sticking to the top 100.

Basically moral of the story is times are tough, allow yourself to feel desperate enough to make risky/dumb moves that put you in an even worse situation
