Some suspicious things I’ve observed

I just joined this group and have already seen several posts on here detailing some fishy situations involving unauthorized purchases / discrepancies with sell orders, etc. so I wanted to share my own bad experiences as well.

These are the only two occasions I’ve ever tried to buy crypto on binance [the US version] and both left me with a suspicious vibe. I guess I’ll take it as a lesson to use other exchanges moving forward even if that means paying a higher fee..

1: Tried to buy BNB and kept getting an error message saying the transaction could not complete so I gave up. Next day logged back in to try again since the price had also dropped significantly (this was early summer right before the crypto doomsday crash hah). When I clicked on my wallet I saw that 2 BNB “transactions” had actually gone through the night prior, timestamps within 10 seconds of each other which would have been impossible regardless. I submitted a ticket and it took them 2 months to respond.. and they didn’t address or try to resolve the issue at all. What’s even weirder.. when I click on the transaction detail now in my wallet, it says “seems like you don’t have any transactions for this coin yet”, further confirming that I never actually completed the transactions yet somehow ended up with 2bnb in my wallet.

2: I made two separate BTC purchases on the same day 2 weeks ago — both times the price I was charged did not align with the real-time price of BTC displayed at the time of the transaction. The price I was charged was a decent amount higher in both cases. I took a video showing an example of this but can’t post it here and can’t figure out how to post a screenshot + text… but the video shows that the real-time price displayed at the time of the order was $42,153 and the price listed on the order preview was $42,297. This was just an example and the discrepancy isn’t that large, but in the two purchases I actually made it was more like a $600-$700 discrepancy. I’m curious if others have noticed anything similar. Or if there’s some other explanation for the discrepancy that I am unaware of.

[note: I’ve tested this multiple times with the same result so I’ve ruled out the possibility that the price of btc changed within the 2 seconds it took to type in an order amount and proceed to the order preview/confirmation page.]
