Some stats about round 38

Hello gents,

As promised, I am bringing to you some preliminary interesting insights about distribution round 38. You can find my previous post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/11uph6x/some_stats_about_round_37/

So, as done before, our starting point will be the Karma distribution histogram:

This time, the total amount of users which are included in the drop are 11754 (compared to 11601 from the previous drop). And here I already found something that is interesting (at least to me): comparing round 37 with round 38, only 6542 users from 38 are the same as in 37. This means that 5212 users did not take part in round 37, but did take part in round 38.

So we have a "retention rate" of around 56.4%. I don't know about you, but this is much lower than what I expected. On the positive side, this does mean that the community is expanding.

Another interesting thing is that the basic stats are almost the same (at least very close) to the ones from the previous round. In details:

- 1st Quartile: 4 (25% of eligible users gathered 4 or less karma points)

- 2nd Quartile (Median): 14 (50% of eligible users gathered 14 or less karma points)

- 3rd Quartile: 50 (75% of eligible users gathered 53 or less karma points)

- Mean (or average): 118,8

Regarding our top 1%, the total number of users falling in this category is very similar to the previous round (as the total number of users is very similar), but the threshold registered an increase of circa 13.7%:

- 99 percentile: 2101 (meaning that 99% of users gained less than 2101 karma points)

- Number of users in top1%: 118
