I have an old unused laptop at home (256SSD + 1TB HDD) and the only sensible thing to do with it is Bitcoin fullnode. My question is what is the most recommended way to do it taking into account it's old laptop and and its only purpose will be running Bitcoin.
I found that I could install Ubuntu there and run Bitcoin via Umbrel (Ubrel looks nice) or it is better to just install Bitcoin Core? What are other options? I read somewhere that Umbrel is more recommended for Raspberry Pi. Bitcoin core looks ugly tho.
Thanks for any info!
