Requested: a step-by step guide for sending WBTC from Binance to Metamask wallet

Hi I'm looking for a step-by step guide for sending WBTC to Metamask wallet. I've read too many horror stories, wrong network and such, funds disappearing; plus it's expensive, I don't wanna experiment, sending a small amount then do it again-- that'll be twice the fees! Just want a straightforward step-by step how-to I can count on to get the money there the first time on the write network ready to be staked.
