Reddit disables Reddit Coins and acknowledges that RCP are tradeable. Are we in for an interesting ride?

All Cryptocurrencies

There are a lot of interesting things happening around moons. Firstly, Reddit has the vision to allow people to make a living by generating content on their page. Just recently they announced the end of Reddit Coins. In this statement they said:

"We also learned that redditors want awarded content to be more valuable. With that, we are reworking how great content and contributions are rewarded on Reddit."

And just like that they announced in their TOS that Collectible Avatars and RCP (Community Points like Moons, Bricks etc...) are tradeable.

So: In my opinion, it doesn't sound too far fetched that reddit wants to implement their RCP system as the main way of rewarding content. To buy Awards, Subscriptions, Premium or even exchange it to Fiat.

What I am unsure about is if every subreddit will have their own points or if some can have the same. Will all the points be tradeable for a single "reddit points" currency? What do you think?

The price of moons is pumping right now and I think with the recent news, we have a good reason to be bullish on their future.
