Recover assets sent on wrong network

I made a transfer using the wrong network to Binance. My assets were in WETH (polygon network). I should convert them to MATIC to transfer to binance, but I forgot this step and transferred the WETH using the polygon network to binance.

I filled out this form the form on this page: https://www.binance.com/en/my/wallet/uncredited_deposit/form

And they answered me with the following:

Reason: Unsupported transfer method.

Remarks: Dear User, WETH Token deposit using MATIC Network we are unable to retrieve for the moment, maybe in the future we’ll develop, but cannot do it at the moment. Please be asked to check the token and network next time. Thank you.

Can anyone let me know if there is anything else I can do to recover these lost assets?
