So, maybe I'm simply misunderstanding the sub /r/Buttcoin. It looks like its marketed as a 'comedy' for cryptocurrency ideals and occurrences with posts about 'butthurt' cryptocurrency enthusiasts. But all the posts are essentially an anti-crypto bro echo chamber. That sub's rules include #1 Abuse - 'at least pretend to be a decent human being in here'; and yet, the majority of the comments are along the lines of 'get rekt' or 'get f*&#ed' in response to people losing more than they can afford to lose. I can truly understand a hatred for cryptocurrency (counter-arguments to cryptocurrency utility is actually productive), but just from a humanistic standpoint, I don't understand such a collective animosity and loathing for the PEOPLE in financial ruin with everything that's going on in the space. To me, the sub just seems unsympathetic & remorseless to a community of people that's hurting IRL. A group of people thriving from the misfortunes and disparity of others. From what I understand, many there feel this bear market is vengeance to the expressive pro-crypto enthusiasts/'crypto bros'; however, they're also not targeting those people - but the people desperately looking for an ounce of advice or hope as their world (at least financial world) has been destroyed. Am I missing something here?
