It doesn't matter if your government up and decides to outlaw crypto. It doesn't matter if there are tax laws that try to out you for owning it. If you are capable of reaching the public internet and tor, you can crypto with the utmost sovereignty over your money. You do not even need a financial institute to cash out, simply find someone willing to trade in the currency you are aiming to. It may not work all the time, but trust me, these days there are way more folks adopting this technology than there have ever been.
EDUCATE YOURSELF! Do not keep crypto on exchanges and WALLETS YOU DO NOT OWN. Unless you live in a place in which you need a government form to stash every coin into your personal piggy bank; putting crypto into your personal wallet and traded peer to peer is like hard cash! STOP TRYING TO GAME THE SYSTEM AND THINK YOU WILL GET RICH - only the lucky few and with deep pockets to throw at crypto and treat them like hot stocks will gain anything - if at all. (Yes I know there are zillionaires from the early adopters, but come on, the average person tossing in a few bucks on every paycheck between the last 5 years isn't going to see the gains of someone from 7 or 10 years ago. Unless they hodl until btc jumps triple its current value... stonky vibes aside, let me forward my rant...)
So what if drug dealers use crypto. So what if weapons can be bought on the black market. So what if corrupt governments are jumping on board to skirt sanctions? Fiat of any kind will always have way more blood in its supply chain - adoption of crypto currency means state network systems will need to be attached to the public internet in order for them to utilize crypto, and this will only benefit the citizens behind that curtain of corruption and permit them to trade with other global citizens. Crypto is antithetical to politics and anyone trying to bring control over something they have no domain over is only doing it for selfish reasons.
Educate yourself, educate others around you. Mass adoption will ensure governments cannot control us through our labor. Lets make the system work for us instead of just the in-crowd and shills.
What about tax fraud?... Yeah, like this past couple of years in the United States it became apparent leaders will hedge intel to fatten their pockets and the super rich will trickle down their investments back into their profits - all the while willing to sacrifice the common person and fraudulently hedge a broken healthcare system to shut down millions of sprouting business and by that - ruin lives and livelihoods. The greatest fraud in history is happening right in front of us as our own housing is scooped up so that generations will not even know the facade that is the "dream" of land ownership. It isn't fraud if you are bound by business licenses and you report what you traded in time and services for what money. It's only fraud when those in power cry fraud. The fact that Bitcoin hasn't gone red shows us how much trust could be put into it. Decentralizing finance puts an end to all this bullshit. People crying the status quo will only get the status quo, and guess what - the status quo always seems to devalue and you get less for all your labors.
Crypto and the gold standard that Bitcoin is edging out - in a perfect scenario mind us - will free us from needing to ever put blind trust into representative government. The programability of the technology that is blockchain transcends transactions and pump and dumps - smart contracts can be innate to a new way in how we even govern society.
There's a reason the right wing is all of a sudden embracing crypto. Russians who held crypto aren't affected by banking shutdowns. If these entities are all of a sudden red pilled, Bitcoin is here to stay.
