Perfect example and reminder that crypto influencers are paid shills using you for exit liquidity.

ZachXBT (293k followers) on Twitter recently posted a thread that exposes popular crypto influencer Lark Davis (1M+ followers) promoting micro caps to his followers before proceeding to dump on them throughout the recent bull market. It's a great thread backed with evidence and screenshots. Also a very good reminder that crypto influencers in general are paid shills that shouldn't be trusted, especially when it comes to newer projects.

Here are some highlights of the thread:

Example 1: $UMB

a) Feb 9, 2021 at 4 pm UTC Lark receives 62.5k UMB at launch

b) Feb 9, 2021 at 8:16 pm UTC Lark makes a tweet about the launch

c) Over next few hours Lark dumps all of the 62.5k UMB for over $136k USD.

The rest have a similar structure of receiving the coin (as payment by the project devs), shilling before release and dumping on his followers immediately after. I'll only quote the amount he dumped below to keep it short.

c) At launch Lark dumps 24k DOWS for over $56k USD.

c) Meanwhile Lark is in the process of dumping all his 120k SHOPX for over $435k USD (finishes on 4/2)

c) Over the next hour Lark dumps $28k USD worth of BLES d) Over a few day period he dumps all of the 16k BLES for $103k USD

d) Over next few hours he dumps all of his PMON tokens for over $313k USD

d) Dec 30, 8:08 pm UTC he starts dumping all of the XED tokens; finishing in 1.5 hrs for $34k
