Paypal should not be trusted or supported with their new crypto services, including the launch of their own stablecoin. Same company was mass banning and freezing funds of people that were using Paypal to trade cryptocurrencies.

So year is 2023 and Paypal suddenly doesn't just want to give people the ability to directly buy and sell cryptos through their platform, they're also launching their own stablecoin (one that can as most other stablecoins freeze your funds, burn the tokens in your account etc...)

It's obvious Paypal sees a potential of good amount of extra profits they can squeeze. They had to have seen all these reports of Tether being the most profitable company per employee, all the analysis how having a stablecoin is just easy, free money. But why should we trust them? A company that always looked for ways to freeze other people's assets and accounts for the smallest things.

But the biggest thing is that Paypal in past was banning numerous people they caught selling or trading cryptos. For example in 2014 there were multiple reports of Paypal mass banning Bitcoin users

There are basically news articles and reports (multiple others in other years) of them freezing crypto trading accounts for past 10 years, and suddenly they expect crypto community to trust them with their crypto funds and use their stablecoin? Anyone that cares about actual selling points of cryptocurrency should avoid anything Paypal offers them regarding cryptos. Their track record speaks for itself.
