Not every NFT has to inherently create monetary value.

The Reddit NFTs should remind us that art related NFTs shouldn’t be treated as convoluted illiquid Shitcoins, traded only for profit.

When airdropped for free to thousands of users, and utilizable in the platform, I don’t understand why the first point of emphasis is monetary value.

I like the idea and think its cute to have a unique profile avatar, even if it were to be traded as pennies at any NFT platform. If you think about how much money you can make the moment you received the NFT, then sorry but you’re part of the problem.
