Not every Alt is going to get out of this bear market alive. If something goes down it may very well stay down, you still have to be cautious while buying the dip.

Some alts will very well just stay down and "cease to exist". That has happened in every bear market.

Bear markets can be seen as some kind of Purge against alts. Many will die out simply because they never had something backing it and always lived on speculation. Few of those could even by in the top 100. Luna could be one, tho probably not as they actually have more than UST backing it.

If an alt drops 80% it does not mean it can only go up now. It can very well drop another 80%. During a bull market you ask whether this will go up or down. During a bear market it's whether this will even survive.
