No, it's not unprofessional or even "a bad move" to hold neither BTC nor ETH

All Cryptocurrencies

We love the tech, but we also love the profits... right?

If your answer is no, then skip this post. But I'm pretty sure the majority of us are in it to win it - as a middle finger to governments always trying to limit the freedom of their people and as a huge success in history of finance, but also as a moneymaker for us.

Holding BTC or ETH is still absolutely vital for those who are looking for relatively safer bets in the world of crypto.

But young 3rd world crypto investors like me who are getting paid dust and are in a hurry to save a few pennies only to survive, often buy either shitcoins or fundamentally strong low market cap projects.

By the way, for us peasants, don't invest what you can't afford to lose doesn't work either. You must be privileged to think these mantras always work for everyone. If you want to REALLY invest what you can't afford to lose, you should invest ZERO.

But when crypto is your only hope, all of that loses meaning. Of course, I'm not saying go ahead and invest your food share on crypto, because that way you'd starve to death.

But ANY kind of "luxury" is a felony to commit for the poor. And by luxury I mean mid tier things and accessories, because even those are considered luxury for people from behind countries and regions.

So it's either put most of your earnings into crypto, or thrive just to reach NOTHING. Once you finally manage to save enough to buy a house after 174 years, the price of a house has already been multiplied by 20.

I can't buy BTC or ETH and wait years for it to go high enough for me to be able to afford anything worthy.

Back then I made a post about going all in on BTC, and it's not a bad thing to do really, but not for me or any other financially unstable folks among us.

I realized I have to deal with DeFi shenanigans, low cap alts, staking and pools and airdrops and hunting giveaways and whatnot.

In such "portfolio", if you can call it that and not a miniature pouch of coins, there's no place for BTC or ETH.

Just wanted to share another perspective from the view of the less privileged. It's kind of a ride or die story here!

⚠️ I don't endorse buying shitcoins no matter what. They're bad to the health of a productive market. That kind of adoption isn't even good enough imho.
