No, despite what people tell you, moons do not always dump after distribution

I am here to dispel the widespread moon dump rumor, misinformation, be gone!

Most of the people on this sub will tell you that right after moon distribution the price dumps as a result of people claiming their moons and then immediately selling them. Well, as the chart below suggests that is simply not accurate.

Last 7 moon distributions

I plotted the last 7 distributions on the chart and as you can see the effects of distribution are varied. After the distribution on January 27th, March 24th, April 21st, and June 16th moons increased in price

On the other distributions, they tended to sell-off. (albeit after a quick spike in February).

There isn't really a significant connection between moon distribution and the price of moons, but as more distributions occur and the sample size grows we will have a more concrete idea.
