NFTs can be valuable as art - Change my mind

I see a lot of takes on NFTs with the sentiment even here seems to be very anti-NFT. NFTs as art seems to be a running joke.

I've been buying NFTs for the longest time. Never really spend much more than $10 and feel good that the thing I'm getting has the proceeds going back to the artist. But it has racked up over the years. I never really thought of it more than tipping someone and having some loose ownership to call it mine.

Have I got this wrong? Are NFTs garbage con regardless of art / utility etc?

I'm not looking for the classic 'if you like it that's all that matters' bs. I want anti NFT gang to pour scorn on NFTs, give me a real reason to second guess my life choices - do your worst.
