My non-crypto friends have been laughing at me for the past year but now…

they are starting to feel some FOMO as well.

After diving into the crypto world in early 2021 most of my friends were making fun of me for investing in fake internet money. After the bull ended they occasionally asked me how my portfolio was doing and with great pain I always had to admit that it was not doing great. Fair enough but I was in it for the long haul. Nowadays my portfolio is still not doing so hot, so I do get some snide comments here and there (all friendly banter of course).

Recently my friend asked me how bitcoin is doing and I said that it is up again from 15k to 23k and got a reaction that I can only interpret as a slight feeling of regret and fomo. He is thinking about starting to put some money into ETFs, which I highly encourage but hearing those numbers in relation is of course way more interesting. Still I do not think any of my friends will ever do it and I will not be trying to convince them.

Do you have any funny stories and how do you handle your friends shitting on crypto?
