My family couldn't comprehend it when I told them I was quitting my job to sell pokemon cards, now I have to tell them I'm paying rent from posting on an Internet forum!

My family were a little blown away earlier this year when I quit my career of 12 years to sell pokemon cards for a living. They were very supportive of me however the idea of leaving engineering to sell pieces of cardboard came across as borderline insane.

Now I have to explain to them that this months bills have been covered by my accumulation of reddit moons and that they were earned from posting on an Internet forum!

They will legitimately think I've lost the plot. I will admit though they have been very supportive of me.
