My ETH wallet got compromised.

I don't know what went wrong. I've been in the crypto space since 2017 and I've never got scammed and my crypto stolen from me. I just checked my metamask and noticed why was my ETH counter was empty. Checked BNB and MATIC chain. I just realized that my ETH wallet got compromised. I have no idea how this happened. The only thing I did was connect my metamask to pancake swap because I was gonna sell this shit coin I bought from it. I had like over $1k usd worth of crypto in it. I know for some people that's nothing but I've been DCAing since last year. I can still feel the sadness and depress from what just happened. I know that I can't do anything about it but I just want to vent out here and let people know to be careful next time. The only bag I have is Cardano and I'm scared to check it in this laptop I'm currently using right now because it might also get compromised if I open it in this device.

EDIT: I left my laptop on sleep while the pancakeswap exchange is in my tab. Does that change anything?
