Most of us is here because this is a make or break for us. So be careful when watching the hype.

I don't have any hard data to say one way or the other on this, but it's one of those things I think most of us would agree some if not all of this is true based on what we seen and experienced.

But I believe the vast majority of individuals who are drawn to crypto, stocks, and similar things are doing so as a means to an end. Consider whether this description fits you even a little.

You want to have some stability in your life, whether that's the security of knowing you'll be able to afford your basic living expenses, or maybe you are after the joy of raising a family of your own. Maybe it is the ability to retire or knowing when you retire you will be OK. Perhaps you're like me where you're forever in poverty because you have a statistically high unemployment disability, and due to how social society is. Without luck, you are screwed.

You investigate potential solutions by prodding them. Perhaps you once tried your luck in the stock market, only to discover that you require a sizable initial investment in order to make any real money. Perhaps you tried to sell something on Etsy. Or maybe you tried making YouTube videos only to find you are a failure at that. Nonetheless, you wonder what you'll do if things don't turn around and go your way. It's possible that none of your dreams will come true. Or you'll be too old to enjoy it by the time you acquire it.

And maybe because of things, you are so burnt out, you just want to find the magic bullet that will get you where you want to go in life.

You might be interested in technology to the extent of thinking "oh that is neat," but you're probably not going to dive into the code anytime soon. Alternatively, you may have already dove into the code but have found that it is either too boring or unhelpful. But in the end, you don't really care about anything beneath the surface.

You sit there hoping for the market to go up while waiting for it to happen. However, if you did the math, you'd see that a significant financial investment is required to achieve your goals. Maybe you read a post about someone paying off their mortgage or whatever with crypto, and this gives you some hope. But again, you avoid doing the math due to too much for fear of destroying your happy assumptions. The one ideal that brings true joy and offers you reason to believe in a better future. Your favorite thing is sleeping or using something to escape. Perhaps it is because in your dreams your fantasies provide relief from the stress of knowing that you have wasted away your life, or perhaps were never given a real chance. And at the end of the day you honestly feel crypto can aid you immensely in getting the life you want.

Anyways, I think this sums up the average person in crypto. It sounds depressing because it is. But the key thing to note is if I'm right, this type of person will cling so hard on an idea that something will save them. They will hold onto a bad investment like Safemoon or whatever because IT MIGHT go back up and turnout to be something great. They will push hard for some coin they barely know anything about and honestly no one knows if it is a real scam. But because being an early person in something about to blast off would make their desires possible. They push that hype extremely hard.

If I'm right, this is why a lot of hype causes most who follow it to lose most of their value. That basically most of the hype is being generated by people who are extremely desperate for something to work that they will believe anything and push as if it will grant them the life they want.

IMO this is a failure of society and not the person. I believe the elite made this into a feature for them and scammers exploit it. But at the same time I think this is why it is best to avoid as much of the hype as possible. By acting on the hype, you are taking a ton of risk.

TLDR try to avoid the hype in the next bull run. Try to stick to logic.
