Hi! I’m researching options to run a lightning node and have a few questions:
- Can c-lightning run upon neutrino node (bip157) e.g. provided by lightning labs?
- Afaik c-lightning can run upon spruned, it looks good, but I don’t quite understand what’s the pros / cons between spurned and neutrino, can someone help?
- Are there any other options?
- Are there any plans to teach bitcoind to work like neutrino node?
Ultimately I’d like to run c-lightning in the cloud and ssd is my biggest concern so far.
Edit.
- I found out you can run bitcoind in pruned mode, seems like it’s the same as what’s spruned is doing? So the same pros / cons? And the time you need to get it running is comparable with neutrino node?
