I know that we're in the middle of crypto winter.
When I say near term, I mean another 1 or 2 years of crypto winter.
I'm wondering if it might be worth it to make small investments ($50 to $100) in 3 or 4 new coins per month. Maybe in coins that lost significant value during the crypto winter but had solid numbers before that. Or maybe in promising new coins.
I can set aside maybe $200 to $300 per month and placed them in 3 to 6 different coins. The idea is that by the end of next year, I will have small investments in 36 to 72 different coins. It is money that I can afford to lose.
Just for this month, I also have an extra $700 that I can either put into a new laptop or also put towards cryptocurrency. I'm leaning towards getting a new laptop since it is the Holiday season and there are many good deals now. But I wonder if I might be missing out on an opportunity to invest in more coins.
Also, is mining newly established coins something worth looking into now?
Any advice?
Thank you.
