Is including High cap Altcoins in a crypto portfolio a good strategy?

By keeping some percentage of your crypto investment in altcoins, you can boost your portfolio performance. But altcoins come with lot of issues like exit liquidity, scams, low to no adoption and price speculation. I am sharing what works for me without putting all my life savings at risk in new altcoins popping out everyday.

• Allocate <30% of your portfolio to altcoins.
• Try allocating most of the investment to high cap altcoins than extremely new ones.
• Pick altcoins which are building towards a particular use case which can enhance the web3 infrastructure and avoid copy paste projects.
