Is Bitcoin better for the environment because of deflation?

Here is my shower thought:

Inflationary currencies, like the dollar, incentivize people to spend and consume products. Those products and the supply chain to provide the products, use fossil fuels.

Deflationary currencies like Bitcoin, incentivize people to only buy what is necessary, because the value will go up over time. Therefore, people will consume less on frivolous products that pollute the environment.
