 | If you were going to introduce someone to blockchain, what would be the easiest chain to introduce them to first? Assume they have no experience with crypto, and no advanced tech knowledge. Someone who is pretty comfortable doing most things online, but is not an early adopter. Like a lot of people, the first crypto I tried out was Bitcoin. Now, I would never recommend bitcoin as the first crypto for someone to try out, because the fees are relatively high and can be unpredictable. I'd say Litecoin is a better introduction than Bitcoin. Also the value of Bitcoin is a mental hurdle for people who are used to thinking about currency transactions in whole numbers. The idea of sending 0.001 of a coin just isn't exciting. DOGE is actually better as an introductory coin - the numbers and coin values are more intuitive and it feels more approachable. It's a superficial difference, but that kind of psychological factor can have a big impact on people's initial understanding. I'd feel bad about wasting sats, but paying a couple extra DOGE in transaction costs or to the wrong wallet wouldn't feel so bad. Nano might be a good one for testing out functionality, given the speed and fees. I'm a big fan of both Ethereum and Cosmos, but neither of these are friendly to new users. Ethereum fees are a nightmare, Layer 2s are way too confusing for most people, and Cosmos is even harder to get your head around if you don't understand blockchain yet.
