In crypto people make mistakes that most of them would never make in real life. Does being online turn off brains of most crypto investors?

In crypto or more generally in the internet most people get scammed easily or make silly mistakes that most of them would never made in real life. Why even really smart people in crypto space turn into complete fools?

Vast majority of crypto mistakes are really stupid, like not writing your seedphrase down, not checking adress you send to or giving your seedphrase to "tech support" in your DMs. Things so obvious that no one should do them. Yet people still do, even people that supposedly are experienced investors and advise others to not do those things fall for them themselves.

Assuming everyone in crypto space want to scam you and everything unknown can drain your wallet is solid strategy. The same strategy most if us use in real life. If some random approach you on the street with great investing opportunity would you trust him? Ofc no. No one would. Why then you trust the same random online? People in crypto need use bit of street smartness and common sense they use every day to not get scammed by shops selling things they don't actually need or friend of the friend that think he have $10mln business idea just need few k for start.

Greed and naivety bling judgement of most crypto investors and not only them. People have some weird tendency to trust more and check less if they are online. And that's bad, cause it would let them avoid most problems and risks in crypto space. People shouldn't be different in crypto space than they are irl, cause different in most cases mean turning off logical thinking and common sense.
