I saw another post about people being targeted for scams via DMs. Some people think that the best policy is to "ignore and don't click". But they are already letting scammers and spam in their inbox. What for?
People should instead disable their DMs. There is no need for anybody to contact you privately because they can already contact you at any moment and interact with you.
No stranger is going to come with the "trade of the century" and share it with you. If anybody wants to help you with your wallet or with your questions about crypto privately, they are scammers. There is a wealth of both information and disinformation in Reddit and scammers abound in subs but you don't need DMs to explore it.
Disable your DMs to protect yourself!
