If you would have just sit on the sidelines for our whole move down to $19.5k and now back up to $25k, you probably overperformed the majority of traders.

The past week and especially the last days have been a perfect representation of one of the most important moves to do in Crypto: Just doing nothing. Yes, while most people trick and struggle with what to do during which move and even try to ask us. My wholly 2+ years of experience can tell you that 90% of the time just doing nothing is better and actually the best move to do.

This chart shows you what could happen if you try to play with every move the market does. While the bank contagion and the collapse if Silvergate and SVB happened, there were about $250M long liquidations in one day and $130M the other day.

Just a few days later we had $150M short liquidations, then another $170M short liquidations the next day and then $160M. My math brain tells me that during our way down to $19k we had $380M long liquidations and just a few days later we had $480M short liquidations. About equal and that makes the majority of people that ever played with leverage lose out.

Showing how if you literally did nothing since the 9th March to now, you have been way better off than people that tried to play the market and got burned both ways. This will also happen in the future, so stay steady lads and just, for a bit, do nothing, touch grass or go on a hike. That may be your best move ever.
