I don’t remember ever setting a password in the first place, but I do have my 12 word seedphrase.
Whether I ever created a password or not (apparently this is to backup to Reddit) I was concerned if forgetting this password (or just not having one?) but still having my seedphrase would mean I would still be able to access my vault.
Like, is it one or the other, or do you need just one? I don’t want to earn all these moons just to find out years later that I don’t have access to them.
I’m already somewhat stressed about if I somehow ever lose access to my Bitwarden account.
The only more secure option would be to print out (or hand write?) every single password (and seedphrase) on a piece of paper and store it, somewhere……
That seems ridiculously inefficient, for storing/saving literally dozens of passwords that sometimes have to be changed, and if I didn’t have the piece of paper on me, I wouldn’t be able to login to anything when I’m not home (and manually entering 30+ character passwords of random letters, numbers, and symbols would take forever.
I wish passwords were replaced 100% with fingerprints or retinal scans. Even the most secure password, would be insecure to use the same for every account.
Am I tripping?
